Spirit Daughter is a growing brand with multiple social media channels including our main account (with over 2m followers), TikTok, and our secondary accounts: spiritdaughtercollective and momentbyspiritdaughter. We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to help elevate our online presence.

Position Overview

We're seeking a part-time/freelance Social Media Manager based in Los Angeles to create and schedule engaging content across our platforms. This role is primarily remote, with in-person content shoots twice monthly at our Venice, CA location.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage posts across all Spirit Daughter social media accounts
• Produce high-quality reels using content direction from our founder
• Manage paid social media advertisements
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
• Track analytics and adjust strategy based on performance
• Collaborate with our founder during bi-monthly in-person shoots

Important Note

Content direction, illustrations, and written quotes for our main account are created by our founder. The Social Media Manager will focus on reels production, content scheduling, and account management rather than original content creation.

Requirements

• Must be located in Los Angeles area, available for in-person shoots in Venice, CA twice monthly
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands
• Experience with social media ad management and optimization
• Strong skills in reels and video content production
• Proficiency with Later and ManyChat platforms
• Creative mindset with ability to generate fresh ideas
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Knowledge of social media analytics and performance metrics
