We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer / Azure DevOps for a leading IT consulting client in Sydney.




This role will play a critical role in supporting the Cloud practice development and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex cloud-based solutions for our clients, including leading banks, ASX-listed companies, and government agencies. 




Key Responsibilities:




  • Design,

    implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure solutions




  • Develop

    automation scripts and tools to streamline processes and improve

    efficiency




  • Collaborate

    with clients to understand their business requirements and develop

    customized solutions




  • Provide

    technical guidance and support to project teams




  • Provide

    expertise in DevOps methodologies and best practices, including CI/CD

    pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation.




  • Participate

    in the design and development of cloud-based solutions, working closely

    with other teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and business

    objectives.




  • Manage,

    monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and

    scalability.




  • Collaborate

    with stakeholders to ensure that cloud solutions are designed with

    security, reliability, and scalability in mind.




  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and

    advancements in cloud technology






Requirements


Requirements:




  • Bachelor's

    degree in Computer Science or a related field




  • At

    least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps




  • Expertise

    in Azure cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS




  • Experience

    with automation tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible




  • Strong

    understanding of networking, security, and identity management in the

    cloud




  • Knowledge

    of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.




  • Experience

    with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration and delivery.




  • Excellent

    communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work

    effectively in a team environment.




  • Ability

    to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on

    delivering results.
