Senior Cloud Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, and the starting date is as soon as possible at our office in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities

1. Design and architecture: create, maintain, and document system architecture for cloud-based solution
2. Implementation: deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure
3. Automation: implement and manage automation tools for CI/CD, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning (e.g., Terraform)
4. Security: establish and enforce cloud security best practices and policies
5. Performance and monitoring: monitor application and system performance, develop automated monitors, and troubleshoot production issues
6. Disaster recovery: develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Requirements

1. Cloud platforms: 3+ years of professional experience in a cloud related role working on an enterprise level with one or more public cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
2. Containerization: experience with Docker and Kubernetes
3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): proficiency with tools like Terraform, Cloud Build
4. Scripting and programming: strong skills in languages like Python and Bash
5. DevOps: experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)
6. Networking and security: Strong knowledge of networking principles and cloud security
7. Soft skills: excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
8. Education: a degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields
