About the Role
Our client is seeking a Package Designer to join their team on a contract basis, supporting a direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand. This role will focus on designing packaging and other print assets that align with the brandβs identity and resonate with its target audience.
The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio of packaging and print design work, a deep understanding of branding, and experience working within DTC, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle industries (or others). Youβll collaborate closely with internal teams, ensuring high-quality, on-brand designs that enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop packaging concepts and print assets that align with brand guidelines.
- Create dielines, mockups, and production-ready files for packaging materials.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure packaging aligns with campaign initiatives.
- Work with vendors and printers to ensure accurate production and high-quality output.
- Conduct trend research to stay updated on packaging innovations and industry best practices.
- Ensure consistency in branding across all packaging and print materials.
- Revise and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in package and print design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing packaging work for DTC brands, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle products.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience creating dielines and production-ready files.
- Familiarity with print production processes and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
