Job OverviewWe are in search of an accomplished and innovative Chief Operating Officer (COO) to spearhead daily operations and collaborate closely with the CEO and the National Board of Directors. Key Responsibilities
Direct and supervise daily operations to guarantee consistency with the organization’s strategic objectives.Transform comprehensive strategic initiatives into practical and impactful actions.Provide continual assistance to the executive leadership team regarding significant business determinations, while managing risks and resources with effectiveness.Cultivate an open and engaging organizational culture by communicating strategic objectives and ensuring alignment across all departments.Act as a mentor to team members, offering insights on business planning, risk mitigation, and organizational efficiency.Oversee financial management, ensuring positive outcomes in relation to the annual budget and long-range financial projections.Contribute actively to fundraising initiatives and resource development to further the mission.Serve as Secretary to the Board and act as the primary intermediary between the Board and executive management.Organize and prepare for Board meetings, collaborating with the CEO and other leaders to guarantee informed decision-making.Support the Board's development, management strategies, and governance responsibilities, ensuring compliance with bylaws and nonprofit regulations.Required Skills
