Job Title: Health Operations and Systems Project Manager
Location: Cupertino, CA- Hybrid schedule
Duration: 10 month contract with potential to extend- 40 hours/weekly
Pay rate: $61.80-$66.80/hour
Job Description
This role is responsible for understanding strategic objectives, driving project plans, assessing risks and challenges, managing multiple work streams and identifying the necessary resources to make it happen. This role interacts cross-functionally with operations, clinical team members, and other partner functions within the company.
Key Qualifications
- Excellent analytical and writing skills; documenting requirements, specifications, process flows, gap analyses, project plans, and reporting budget/forecasts.
- Previous experience managing projects and vendors that deliver healthcare operations solutions.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, relationship, communication, and coordination skills.
- Demonstrated initiative in handling multiple assignments.
- Able to initiate, manage, learn, and perform work with limited instruction.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI or equivalent certification from an accredited program is preferred.
Description
- Analyzes current operations and methodically develops work plans
- Works with various operations teams to obtain requirements and ensure compliance
- Manages projects of high complexity and develop realistic project plan and schedules
- Manages relationships with multiple vendors to deliver on key project deliverables
- Manages the process for workflow & system design and implementation related to key organizational projects from inception to design
- Maintains detailed and organized meeting notes, tracking and following-up on action items and next steps to drive the work forward
- Ensures timely and consistent communication to sponsors and stakeholders on project status, scope changes, and resource impacts for projects.
- Facilitates the development of key performance indicators (“KPIs”) and iterate on processes as needed
- Develops and fosters strong and collaborative cross functional relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business or equivalent field
- Experience delivering healthcare projects strongly preferred
