Responsibilities:
- Design and create visually appealing and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into design concepts
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas
- Ensure websites are optimized for usability, accessibility, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers
- Implement and customize content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal, WordPress, or SharePoint
- Incorporate motion graphics and interactive elements to enhance user engagement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design
Requirements:
- Experience with ExpressJS, MySQL, and creating REST API's required
- Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role
-Must be comfortable with Command Line
- Cyber Security experience ideal
-Experience with Linux required
-Experience with Jira, Gitlab, Webstorm, and Sequelize are a plus
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design languages
- Strong understanding of usability principles and best practices
- Experience with CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, or SharePoint
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React Express or Node.js
- Knowledge of AJAX for dynamic web content loading
- Ability to create visually appealing designs using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch
- Understanding of visual design principles and ability to create aesthetically pleasing layouts
