If you are passionate about your career, motivated to improve the lives of our community, committed to excellence, and helping others, consider joining MAX.  Role OverviewThe MAX Marketing team is seeking a Video Content Creator / Photographer & Videographer Volunteer to support the creation of compelling visual content across MAX’s digital platforms. This role is ideal for a creative individual with a strong eye for storytelling who enjoys capturing live moments, professional events, and community engagement through photo and video.The volunteer will be responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering visual assets that support marketing campaigns, social media, and event promotion, working closely with the Marketing team through flexible, one-on-one collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesCapture high-quality photography and video at MAX events, panels, and community gatheringsCreate short-form video content, highlight reels, and event recaps for social media and digital platformsEdit raw photo and video assets into polished, platform-ready content aligned with MAX brand guidelinesCollaborate with the Marketing team to plan shot lists, creative direction, and content needsMaintain organized libraries of photo and video assetSupport visual content needs for campaigns, announcements, and promotional initiativesParticipate in in-person events in Toronto for content capture (strongly encouraged)Qualifications & ExperienceExperience or strong interest in photography, videography, and video content creationProficiency with cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, or equivalent) and basic lighting/audio setupsProficiency with editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom, or similarAbility to commit 5–10 hours per week on a flexible scheduleStrong communication skills, with the ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail and visual consistencyFamiliarity with social media formats (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) is a strong assetPortfolio RequirementA portfolio is required and must include relevant digital and print design samplesPortfolio may be submitted as a website link or PDFApplications without a portfolio will not be consideredWhat We OfferFlexible, fully remote volunteer opportunityMeaningful exposure to high-visibility campaigns and community initiativesCollaborative and purpose-driven team environmentPortfolio-building and professional development opportunitiesHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and portfolio (website link or PDF) in one document.
