We are at the forefront of the payments modernization journey, building scalable, resilient, and innovative solutions that power the future of banking.Job SummaryAs a Vice President Product Manager within the Payment Experiences team, you will lead the development and delivery of key platform services that are central to Chase’s payments modernization journey. You will navigate complex data environments, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive the integration of payment platform capabilities into strategic initiatives across the bank. This role requires strong technical acumen, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead multiple development teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.Job ResponsibilitiesLead the development and delivery of new payment platform capabilities, enabling customer- and servicing-facing experiences for payment management across ChaseNavigate Chase’s complex data environment to replicate and synchronize data across legacy and target state systems, ensuring data integrity and availability for customer experiencesPartner closely with other payment product teams to align platform development modernization timelines and strategic prioritiesAdvocate for new data replication solutions with Technology, championing innovative approaches to support evolving Banking Payment customer needsManage multiple development teams responsible for building and maintaining databases and services that power customer-facing payment experiencesIntegrate payment platform capabilities into strategic bank initiatives, collaborating with partners to deliver seamless solutionsOversee product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder priorities, and modernization goalsFacilitate effective sprint planning and resource utilization, partnering with engineering leads to ensure timely delivery of high-value featuresBuild and manage key relationships with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Servicing, Legal, and ComplianceChampion operational excellence, including quality management, controls, and compliance with firmwide standardsFoster a diverse and inclusive team environment, mentoring and developing product managers and engineersSupport production issue resolution and feedback loops, ensuring continuous improvement and client satisfactionRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills10+ years of experience in digital product management, financial services, technology, or project managementBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferredSubject matter expertise in payments architecture, data replication, and digital platformsProven track record managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and agile development teams in a matrixed environmentExperience navigating complex data environments, including legacy and modernized systems, and driving data replication solutionsStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner across Product, Technology, and Business teamsStrategic thinker and problem solver, capable of addressing both technical and functional challengesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong reasoning, organizational, and presentation abilitiesCommitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience building and leading high-performing teamsProficient with MS Office tools, JIRA, and ConfluencePreferred QualificationsExperience with payments modernization initiatives and large-scale platform transformationsFamiliarity with customer-facing payment experiences and servicing platformsExperience supporting cross functional strategic initiatives Advanced degree in business, technology, or related field
