Focused on the LINQ Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) platform, this position offers a unique opportunity to influence innovation at the intersection of medical device, digital health, and artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate brings a strong strategic mindset, analytical depth, and a demonstrated ability to translate complex market insights into compelling product visions. This role is essential to ensuring that future innovations in cardiac diagnostics are grounded in need, commercially viable, and technologically differentiated. We’re working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.Strategic Portfolio Development Define and execute upstream strategy for the next generation of LINQ ICM solutions for new customers and business models. Identify unmet needs, emerging use cases, and evolving customer expectations to inform short-term and long-term portfolio direction. Core Team Representation Serve as the upstream marketing lead and Core Team member for cross-functional product development initiatives. Partner closely with R&D to align technical innovation with strategic market objectives. Market & Opportunity Analysis Conduct rigorous market research, competitive benchmarking, and global opportunity sizing. Evaluate new customer segments and business models with a data-driven approach. Voice of Customer & KOL Engagement Lead structured Voice of Customer (VoC) initiatives to capture insights. Translate feedback into product requirements and positioning strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate extensively with Commercial Marketing, R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Finance, Quality, and Health Economics teams to support business case development and define value-focused product specifications. Innovation & Technology Integration Monitor advancements in digital health, remote monitoring, and AI-enabled diagnostics. Identify opportunities to integrate these technologies into the LINQ platform to enhance impact. Strategic Communication Develop compelling business cases, market models, and executive-level communications to support investment decisions and organizational alignment. Location:  Mounds View, MN At Medtronic, we bring bold ideas forward with speed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. PR) locations (USD):$134,400.00 - $201,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
