Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in managing and delivering large-scale programs in one of the following areas: infrastructure systems, system design, and infrastructure operations.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in leveraging scope-cost-time-quality tradeoffs to help accomplish the goals of the program.
- Knowledge of SQL, comfortable writing scripts and building dashboards.
- Proven track record of technical program management outcomes from concept to launching programs.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end program outcomes, manage software engineering scoping, execution and delivery, and program and manage across large or various cross-organizational teams.
- Communicate progress, and risks. Propose mitigation plans, and align stakeholders on risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage escalations and unblock obstacles, ensure all leadership/stakeholders are aware of progress/blockers on a continuous basis.
- Use technical judgement to build consensus, drive projects, schedule, plans, execution, and communicate status to stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally and globally to improve processes and tools.
