Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management and implementing environmental or energy management systems in the tech sector in Asia.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and executive-level stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or in related techincal fields.
  • Experience in the implementation of the ISO standards within an organizations, preferably 14001 or 5000.
  • Experience in APAC environmental/energy regulations, environmental incident management, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of mission critical operations with respect to environmental and energy management.
  • Excellent investigative, problem-solving and project management skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Environmental and Energy Management System (EEMS) aligned with ISO standards and internal policies to ensure full operational compliance.
  • Monitor emerging APAC environmental and energy regulations, collaborate with internal teams to proactively steer program requirements and maintain legal adherence.
  • Identify and evaluate data center environmental risks, leading mitigation programs and investigating incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and program milestones to drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with global strategy.
  • Create and deliver targeted EEMS communications and training for employees and contractors to ensure awareness and accountability.
