As a Technical Product Manager, Manufacturing Analytics, you will use your knowledge of data and advanced analytics to identify and articulate the role data and analytics products play in helping the business achieve their goals. You will lead a team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Software Engineers to develop analytics products using your expertise in visualization, AI/ML, Statistics and Optimization using GDI&A approved packages and architectures. You will use your knowledge of the product driven operating model, analytic and software delivery via Google Cloud Platform to optimize the delivery of value. You will interact with business partners in Manufacturing to align with their needs and processes to ensure relevancy of products. You will collaborate with universities and the AI Advancement Center within GDI&A to research algorithms and methods to develop business solutions. What you'll do...Accelerate the application of value-added analytics and machine learning into the portfolio of products for Manufacturing Analytics.Drive analytic excellence into product teams by leading Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Software Engineers to develop and deploy products using analytic and machine learning methods.Work hands-on with the team and other partners to deliver solutions that meet our customer's requirements and needs.Balance "doing it right" with "speed to delivery" by identifying and mitigating risk, generating options, educating business and other decision makers, and taking on justified technical debt.Collaborate with universities under the URP (University Research Partnership) framework governed by the Research & Innovation Center to research methods for solving specific problems using AI/MLResearch the emerging fields of Generative AI, Machine Vision, IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) to identify opportunities for applicationPublish findings in industry and research journals and present at conferences; Attend conferences to learn and benchmark state of the art in analyticsCoach and mentor Data Scientists in the areas of statistics, AI/ML, Generative AI, Optimization, etc.You'll have...3+ years of experience building and managing high performing teams Experience in the automotive industry or a complex manufacturing environment. Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ certifications) or Data Management (e.g., CDMP). This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $129,600-244,680.Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
