Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, or business strategy.
  • 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA.
  • Experience using SQL and working with large data sets to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working in sales strategy and operations.
  • Understanding of the Small/Medium Businesses (SMB) landscape.
  • Excellent executive level communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional groups and executive leadership.

About the job

The Revenue Strategy and Operations (RSO) organization drives the strategy, design, planning, and operations of GCS. Within RSO, the Business Programs team leads the design, planning, and implementation of global business growth programs with cross-functional collaboration among sales leadership, marketing, product and engineering. As a team, we help shape the engagement strategy of our global salesforce and ensure alignment of goals and execution. The Agency Program designs the approach for GCS to work with the largest and influential agencies and partners in the ads ecosystem.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing our third-party ecosystem strategy for GCS, including whether and how we engage with various partners. You'll combine thought leadership and investigative expertise to drive incremental sales impact. You will have exposure and visibility to executives as you present your proposals and demonstrate their impact. You will own both the long term program goal and roadmap, and coordination of day-to-day operations to ensure sales programs design is aligned with go-to-market strategies and customer outcomes.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define, prioritize, structure and execute strategic and operational initiatives which includes developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses and developing and implementing recommendations.
  • Deliver on complex initiatives that are foundational elements to the Mastery team achieving its learning and business objectives (e.g., end-to-end process standardization and optimization, measurement strategy, talent strategy, etc.). 
  • Analyze business processes to identify potential issues and uncover/prioritize levers for improvement; influence stakeholders to implement suggested improvements.
  • Structure and package your work into compelling presentations and communications that influence various audiences including executives.
  • Develop, align, and execute a third-party ecosystem strategy for GCS, including partner landscape assessment, segmentation, go-to-market design.
