Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with problem-solving models using spreadsheets or other quantitative analysis to deliver insights for executives.
  • Experience working with cross functional partners to define, build, and execute sales initiatives/strategies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a changing, data-driven environment, management consulting, sales operation/GTM, investment banking, venture capital.
  • Experience in leading, cross-functional projects with end-to-end ownership.
  • Experience in scaled sales team initiatives, incentives, performance management.
  • Track record of synthesizing large datasets into actionable insights and recommendations for executive stakeholders.

Be the operational and analytical engine for Google’s largest business generating sales group by providing operational excellence, systems, and insights, to fuel growth and own business operations/operations excellence, performance management/incentives, and analytics for the Americas Large Customer Sales (ALCS) organization and leadership.

Our team drives end-to-end strategy and execution for the business operations for sales teams determining everything from Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) chosen, to the goals set, to deploying sales incentives for business acceleration - all augmented by our AI-powered analytics sub-team.

As Strategy and Operations Lead for Americas Go-to-Markets (GTM's) BizOps and Analytics team, you will focus on; spearheading projects and drive seamless operational execution across sales incentives and performance management initiatives, upleveling Americas LCS Ad Sales' Rewards and Recognition strategy to accelerate performance aligned with the highest business priorities. You will understand about how to drive behavior change for sales teams leveraging both financial and intrinsic reward mechanisms and you will be delivering operational initiatives flawlessly and can proactively solve problems along with being data-driven in leveraging the large datasets of performance data to inform recommendations.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Architect and execute the comprehensive rewards and recognition strategy for the Americas Large Customer Sales (ALCS) sales group.
  • Ensure all motivational levers including ALCS-wide contests, sector-specific incentives, and performance-management or Googler Reviews and Development (GRAD) inputs are aligned to accelerate business growth and cultivate a culture of good performance.
  • Serve as business owner for Emerson, our core performance management platform.
  • Drive the product roadmap and goal for its use within ALCS by managing the roadmap alongside the technical product lead, and partnering or gathering feedback with cross-functional teams (sales, GTM) to ensure the tool effectively enables continuous coaching, development, and data-driven performance conversations.
  • Lead a complete lifecycle for all ALCS sales contests and incentive initiatives. Responsibilities include ideation and design in partnership with GTM contest leads, budget allocation, operational execution, and assessment of program effectiveness.
