Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, chief of staff positions, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading operations in support of Sales, Partnerships, Product or other organizations.
  • Experience influencing and collaborating with executive stakeholders in a matrixed organization and influencing without direct authority.
  • Ability to grow in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment with limited direction, balance priorities, and manage multiple time-sensitive operational projects.
  • Ability to craft and communicate insights from data, with attention to detail and an interest in metrics/understanding trends and patterns in business performance.
  • Ability to project manage and work with limited guidance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, presentation and communication skills.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a part of the strategy and operations team supporting Ads and Commerce and Geo partnerships in K&I Partnerships, this role will covers Business Operations for the consolidated Ads and Commerce Partnerships organization. The team leads Partnerships supporting Ads and Commerce product portfolio including Shopping (Merchant and Consumer Shopping), Payments (GPay, Wallet, First-Party Platform) and Ads (measurement, data and growth partnerships). This role will support the VP of Ads and Commerce Partnerships on operations, OKR and Headcount management, executive and team communications topics.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with VP, MD, Directors and managers to develop the operating rhythm for the A&CP organization including, but not limited to - QBRs, OKR setting, Headcount management, Executive communications, organizing leadership onsites etc.
  • Define how we operate the business, interface with cross-functional and regional teams and organize around impact.
  • Deliver thought partnership on operational items to enable the VP of Partnerships to be effective in their role in operating the team.
  • Establish bridges with cross-functional BizOps teams to ensure alignment with GP, GBO and K&I-level operations processes.
