Essential Duties & Responsibilities● Contribute to a portfolio of projects that is reviewed and agreed upon by Executive Steering Committee on a monthly basis.● Drive strategic vision and roadmap - shaping the long-term vision with leadership and drive the continuous evolution of the roadmap of billing features/improvements by building a deep understanding of the business, stakeholders, technology, and market trends.● Deeply understand business and problems, write Feature Guides and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), ensure solutions are designed for scalability, accuracy, and improving customer experience.● Lead delivery by collaborating with teams in Project Management, Finance, Customer Experience, Sales, and Technology to ensure successful project execution that hits key milestones, continuously ships features that deliver real value to stakeholders, and keeps stakeholders well-informed.● Align with the key stakeholders on a backlog of opportunities and requests● Calculate strategic value to justify priorities.● Process Governance and Expertise - Serve as the subject matter expert, leveraging NetSuite and billing experience to guide best practices, align stakeholders, and document use cases, data mappings, and secure final approvals for new processes.● Write and socialize feature guides from cross-functional leadership stakeholders.● Document and facilitate stakeholder approval of use cases, data mappings, system architecture and process flows.● Own the quality gate for all solutions, ensuring rigorous validation against both defined technical specifications and functional requirements. Facilitate validation activity (including UAT) to guarantee the complete achievement and actualization of high-value strategic outcomes for the business.● Define, monitor, and report on key performance metrics for billing systems and integrations, using data-driven insights to guide further optimization and maximize operational efficiency.● Lead discussions with technical resources to translate requirements into a strategic long-term platform strategy.● Leverage metrics to improve technology performance and measure project success.● Ensure the successful adoption of new processes and systems by designing and executing comprehensive change management, communications, training, and enablement strategies for end-users and stakeholders.● Develop an understanding of our existing business, market and product.Recommended Experience & EducationMinimum Years of Experience8 years of related experience; or 6 years and an advanced degreeEducation Level Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field and/or equivalent work experienceKnowledge, Skills, & QualificationsRequired● 8+ years of experience working with enterprise systems and integrations including ERP, CRM or HRIS.● Exceptional relationship builder who excels at building rapport and communicating with key stakeholders. Adept at collaborating across teams and personalities, ensuring alignment and clarity in fast-moving projects.● 4+ years of direct hands-on experience with NetSuite SuiteBilling with a strong understanding of its data model, functionality, integrations, capabilities, processes, reporting, etc.● 8+ years of experience in billing systems, processes, integrations, and data specifically in leading transformation and continuous improvement.● 8+ years of experience in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and working with engineering teams.● Proven track record of delivering billing related solutions that improve the customer experience, reduce manual work, and are highly accurate and scalable.● High proficiency and demonstrated experience organizing stakeholders and prioritizing asks.● Ability to work independently to scope and solution architect.● Ability to empathize and manage complex relationships.● High ownership mindset that brings clarity to ambiguity, knows the intricate details, overcomes obstacles, and thrives on delivering high-value outcomes for stakeholders.● Understanding of software development practices and risk mitigation.● Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.● Excellent collaboration and presentation skills.Preferred● Master’s degree in technology or business administration or related fields.● Preferred experience working in FinTech or SaaS industries, and in particular, SaaS-based billing that deals with monthly minimums, usage actuals, and overages.● Experience on handling ‘pass-through’ billing for 3rd Parties based on usage.● Able to work and establish credibility with executives, stakeholders and internal users.● Experience using Salesforce and/or CPQ.● Experienced with Data Lakes and/or Event Based Automation.● Exemplify leadership by being decisive, thinking critically, motivating others and delegating appropriately.● Strong ability to manage time effectively by ruthlessly prioritizing.● Take a strategic vision and translate it into immediate tactical deliverables that provide the most value.● Tailor messaging and phrasing to the language our stakeholders speak.The salary range for this position is: $144,000 - $180,000Cool Things to KnowNot Just Any Company: Alkami has an awesome diverse and inclusive environment.
