Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).

Preferred qualifications:

  • BSc in Computer Science or related fields.
  • 2 years of experience as a software developer.
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Experience learning from senior engineers.

In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to set up requirements and prototype tools for UX research. You will work with engineers at all levels and will be in charge of delivering user-facing features with front-end technologies as well as the necessary client code to ensure that we create exceptional experiences for our users.

  • Develop the next generation of features for better content consumption on the web. By leveraging new AI technologies in Chrome you can help create more innovative ways to allow users to visit the web in their own terms.
  • A seamless translation experience on pages with a different language.
  • Transform an article's content into a podcast.
  • Remove distraction of neurodivergent users to improve their comprehension of complex content.
  • Enable life-changing agentic tools for people to access the web.
