Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in silicon validation, verification, or a related field.
  • Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, Perl, or Tcl).
  • Experience with programming in C or C++.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
  • Experience with CPU architectures (e.g., ARM) and validating complex System-on-Chip (SoC) blocks.
  • Experience with pre-silicon validation platforms like emulation or FPGAs.
  • Experience with post-silicon debug, including using JTAG debuggers (e.g., Lauterbach).
  • Experience with audio, sensor, or low-power validation and system debug.
  • Knowledge of operating system fundamentals and experience with bare-metal programming.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute tests to validate hardware IP blocks and system-level integration.
  • Validate designs on pre-silicon (emulation/FPGA) and post-silicon platforms to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with Software, Architecture, Design, and Design Verification (DV) teams to create comprehensive test plans.
  • Lead silicon debug efforts for complex issues and support analysis of field failures.
