Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++).
- 2 years of experience developing and debugging software embedded projects with a focus on Power and Performance.
- Experience with Performance Modeling, Performance Analysis, Embedded Software Development and Debugging.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++).
- Experience characterizing power, performance, and thermal on silicon platforms.
- Experience with Power and Performance modeling and Analysis.
- Knowledge on system software components, such as device drivers, and runtime.
- Knowledge of the impact of software and architectural design decisions on power and thermal behavior of the system (e.g., System/SoC or IP Power state management and scheduling, cross-layer policy design).

- Work closely with the cross-functional teams (Architects, Software development, Validation etc.) in power estimation and use case definition.
- Perform power and performance analysis of Hardware IP, System SoC and use cases to meet the system goals.
- Perform workload analysis, modeling and system analysis for power, or performance and thermal.
- Project, analyze, develop and debug pre-silicon and post-silicon application power/performance.
- Produce detailed trade-off analysis for engineering reviews and product roadmap decisions. And produce detailed documents for the proposed implementation.
