We are seeking an experienced Freelance SEO Consultant to partner with us on an ongoing basis. Initially, this role will focus on conducting a comprehensive SEO audit for a B2B eCommerce website, with potential opportunities to audit and consult on additional client websites in the future.
We’re looking for a strategic partner who can work collaboratively with our internal team and communicate effectively with our clients. The ideal candidate will provide clear, actionable recommendations to improve search visibility, optimize content strategies, and drive long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a full SEO audit of the website, identifying technical, on-page, and off-page optimization opportunities.
- Provide detailed recommendations for improvements based on best practices and industry trends.
- Develop a keyword strategy aligned with business goals and target audience intent.
- Offer content marketing guidance, including blog and landing page optimizations.
- Provide ongoing SEO consultation to refine strategy and ensure continued performance improvements.
- Collaborate with our internal team to implement recommendations and track progress.
- Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in SEO strategy, audits, and content marketing (preferably in B2B eCommerce or IT-related industries).
- Strong technical SEO expertise, including site structure, crawlability, indexing, and page speed optimization.
- Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate complex SEO concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner.
- Experience working in a consulting or agency setting is a plus.
