Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience in developing accessible technologies.

- Enhance the feature set of the Memcached and Redis offerings. Leverage existing skills and build new expertise in distributed systems/databases/caching/performance-tuning and cloud.
- Raise reliability as the service scales. Own and operate the Cloud Memorystore for Memcached and Redis service.
- Work on the investments for Memorystore, collaborate with Redis and partner teams.
- Lead a team of skilled engineers. Work with partner teams (e.g., Technical Program Manager (TPgM), Program Manager (PgM), Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Engineering Productivity (EngProd), etc) to deliver on product goals.
- Make engineering decisions to grow the product. Coach and guide the teams for achieving organization and separate goals.
