Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in cybersecurity or a customer-facing technical security role.
- 10 years of cumulative industry experience in Financial Services, Technology/Digital Natives, Retail, FMCG/Manufacturing, Telecommunication, Public Sector or Healthcare sectors.
- 10 years of experience in cloud computing, emerging technologies, or a related role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in managing security-related advisory or implementation initiatives focused on strategic cybersecurity issues, security controls design, security architecture, security engineering, cyber risk management, IT risk management, or customer-side cloud security technologies.
- 7 years of experience in a cybersecurity leadership role such as CISO or Deputy CISO or Head of IT Security or other executive Cybersecurity related roles.

The Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is a security advisory team and has a mission of supporting the security and digital transformation of enterprises, governments, critical infrastructure, and business.
In this role, you will enable the adoption of Google Cloud for enterprises across the APAC region by articulating the value of Cybersecurity and Secure Cloud as a key differentiator. You will help to establish Google Cloud as the trusted partner for cloud and security transformation, and you will be responsible for serving as an advisor to executives/C-Suite in customer engagements across all industry sectors in the APAC region. You will also serve as a cybersecurity thought leader in industry forums and expected to develop thought leadership focused on driving the adoption of security practices across enterprises and governments.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with external executive technical leaders (e.g., Chief Information Security Officers, Chief Cyber Risk Officers, Chief Information Officers, Chief Architects, Chief Risk Officers, Chief Data Officers, and Chief Technology Officers), and support the work of the leads in the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO).
- Work across all industry sectors in APAC including Financial Services, Technology/Digital Natives, Healthcare, Public Sector, Telecom, Retail, and FMCG/Manufacturing to support cybersecurity/cloud security engagement with C-level clients in these sectors.
- Design and evolve security architectures tailored to critical sectors.
- Extend OCISO's scope by engaging with C-level stakeholders on cybersecurity and cloud security discussions, thought leadership and customer messaging/communications.
- Collaborate with OCISO's Trusted Architecture function to extend technical solution designs into enterprise architecture frameworks.
