Google accountants are a savvy bunch who handle the core accounting responsibilities at Google. You know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. You'll lead an accounting process from end-to-end. Other responsibilities include reconciling balance sheets and P&L accounts, and providing supplementary financial information for internal and external reports.
The Ads Controllership team are trusted advisors to the business, driving reliable financial reporting and processes. We fuel Google’s growth by unlocking efficiencies and empowering the business to achieve audacious goals. We support Ads business by overseeing end-to-end order-to-cash process, including contracting, billing, revenue reporting and payment disbursement. We leverage our deep product knowledge and GAAP understanding to ensure revenue recognition adherence to 606 guidance. We design and implement robust process controls for SOX compliance and collaborate with auditors to fulfill all audit requirements.
In this role, you'll collaborate extensively across Controllership teams to manage financial statement risks and ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting requirements are met. You will partner with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and co-design financial pipelines to support complex financial operational needs for new product and business initiatives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$183,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
