We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.About your roleWe are looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to help shape the product strategy for private credit operations at Juniper Square. This is not a generic SaaS product role. Your mission is to re-architect how private credit firms operate - replacing fragmented, Excel-based processes with a scalable, system-driven platform.You will define and deliver products that handle:Daily loan activity (draws, paydowns, interest, fees)Complex contract structures (revolvers, DDTLs, multi-tranche facilities)Event-driven workflows (rate resets, payments, lifecycle notices)Lender allocations and ownership structuresIntegration with accounting systems and downstream reporting (e.g., Investran)AI-powered processing of credit agreements and lifecycle noticesYou will work closely with:Our Loan Operations teamOur Fund Administration teamOur clients—private credit managers (GPs)Engineering and design teamsPrivate credit is one of the fastest-growing asset classes - but its operational backbone is still broken.This role is an opportunity to:Replace legacy systems and Excel-based workflowsBuild mission-critical infrastructure for private credit managersHelp define a new category of AI-powered financial operations platformsWhat you’ll doOwn the Product StrategyDefine and execute the product vision for private credit operationsBuild and prioritize a roadmap that replaces legacy workflows and Excel-based processesDrive the evolution toward an AI-native loan operations platformPartner with Internal Domain Experts (Your First Customers)Work day-to-day with our Loan Operations and Fund Administration teams to:Understand real-world workflows, edge cases, and operational pain pointsTranslate domain complexity into scalable product solutionsContinuously validate and refine features based on hands-on usageEngage Directly with Clients (Private Credit Managers)Partner with our clients - private credit managers (GPs) - to:Validate product direction and prioritize the roadmapEnsure the platform supports their investment structures and servicing needsDrive adoption and long-term product fitTranslate into Product & Drive ExecutionOwn the end-to-end translation of business needs into clear, ready-to-build product requirementsWork closely with engineering and design throughout the SDLC—from discovery to deliveryBreak down complex credit workflows into structured user stories, edge cases, and acceptance criteriaAct as the primary interface between domain experts and engineering, ensuring what gets built reflects real-world needsDrive Integration & AutomationDefine integrations with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran) and data platformsAdvance AI-driven capabilities for document processing and workflow automationQualificationsCore CapabilitiesDemonstrated ability to translate complex, real-world workflows into clear, buildable product requirementsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down ambiguous, domain-heavy challenges into structured solutionsHigh ownership mindset with a bias toward execution and deliveryRelevant ExperienceExperience working in or closely with private credit, loan operations, or adjacent financial domainsFamiliarity with credit agreements, loan servicing workflows, and the operational lifecycle of private credit investmentsA plus if you have:Exposure to systems such as:InvestranAllvueWSOSentry PMProduct & Technical SkillsExperience defining product requirements, user stories, and edge cases in collaboration with engineering teamsAbility to operate effectively across the full SDLC—from discovery through deliveryA plus if you have:Familiarity with:APIs and system integrationsData models and data flowsWays You May Have Gained This ExperienceWe recognize that strong candidates may come from a variety of backgrounds, including:Product management in B2B SaaS environmentsBusiness analyst or product owner roles working closely with engineeringOperational roles within private credit or investment operationsIdeal Candidate ProfileYou’ve either:Worked directly in private credit, loan operations, or investment operations, orBuilt products deeply embedded in those workflowsYou understand:How messy real-world credit operations areHow heavily firms rely on Excel and manual processesThe nuances and variability of credit agreementsAnd you’re excited to:Turn that complexity into scalable, system-driven solutionsReplace legacy tools with modern, intuitive workflowsHelp define the next-generation operating system for private creditCompensationCompensation for this position includes a competitive base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. The U.S. salary range for this role is $150,000 – $190,000 USD. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including seniority, skillset, location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
