Members receive access to specialized clinicians, including endocrinologists, obesity medicine specialists, and clinical pharmacists, at-home lab testing, prescription medications, and lifestyle support.9amHealth was founded in 2021 and is backed by leading healthcare investors like Define Ventures, SemperVirens, 7Wire Ventures, and The Cigna Group Ventures.The RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and evolve our AI Care Experience—how care is delivered to members through software.This role requires deep experience in healthcare or care delivery environments, as you will directly shape how clinical workflows, decision-making, and care pathways are translated into product and AI systems.You will lead a product team and be responsible for the end-to-end member journey, using AI to make care more personalized, proactive, and scalable, while maintaining strong clinical quality, safety, and trust.You will operate at the intersection of consumer product, AI systems, and clinical care, helping turn healthcare delivery into high-quality, software-driven experiences. What You’ll DoOwn the End to End Care ExperienceDrive the evolution of the member journey into a seamless, AI first care experienceIdentify where AI can reduce friction, improve clarity, and drive behavior changeBalance automation with human care to ensure strong clinical outcomes and member trustTranslate Care into Product SystemsPartner closely with clinical teams to understand care pathways, decision logic, and real world workflowsTranslate these into product experiences, AI behavior, and system logicHelp define how care is delivered through software, not just supported by itBuild AI Enabled Care ExperiencesShip experiences powered by:conversational interfaces and agentspersonalized recommendations and nudgesintelligent workflows and automationThink in systems across the full care journey, not isolated featuresDefine Human vs AI BoundariesDetermine when AI should act vs when to escalate to cliniciansDesign for clinical safety, appropriateness, and trust in all member interactionsAI Product Craft (Prompting & Evals)Contribute to prompt design and iteration for key care interactionsHelp define and run evaluation frameworks (evals) to measure AI quality, safety, and effectivenessPartner with engineering and data teams to continuously improve system performanceOutcome Driven Product DevelopmentOwn metrics across engagement, retention, and clinical adherenceUse experimentation and data to improve both UX and AI system behaviorProduct Strategy & ExecutionOwn roadmap and prioritization for the AI Care ExperienceLead cross-functional execution across product, design, engineering, and clinical teamsBalance rapid iteration with long-term product quality, safety, and scalability What You’ll NeedMinimum Qualifications (Required)5+ years of Product Management experience in consumer or SaaS productsDirect experience in healthcare or care delivery environments (required)Examples: digital health, care delivery organizations, clinical workflows, patient-facing health productsStrong track record owning end to end user or patient experiencesExperience working on or alongside AI powered productsProven ability to work closely with clinicians and translate care pathways and decision logic into product systemsStrong product instincts around UX, behavior change, and engagement in high stakes environmentsComfort operating in fast moving, ambiguous environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience building AI native or AI first healthcare productsFamiliarity with prompting, evals, or AI system iterationExperience designing human in the loop systems in clinical settingsStartup or high growth environment experienceCompensation for this role is targeted up to a base salary of $180,000, depending on experience and location.What you can expect at 9amHealthAt 9amHealth, you'll join the exciting environment of a startup with the stability of highly experienced founders that have successfully built a business from scratch.
