As a Senior Key Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a large existing book of business while also introducing focused specialty products, analytical platforms and workflow efficiencies to your clients.Β  Striving for strong customer service with increased growth from this book of business.

The territory for this position will cover theΒ Chattanooga, TN market.Β  It will require mostly day travel with little overnight travel. The primary focus will be healthcare providers to service existing business and promote laboratory testing to help improve patient health and outcomes.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Educates,Β instructsΒ and upsells all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territoryΒ 
  • Acts as a liaison between the client and the LabCorp operations team in relation to client needsΒ 
  • ProvidesΒ ongoing service and problem resolution to customer baseΒ 
  • Ensures customer retention byΒ providingΒ superior customer serviceΒ 
  • Recommends solutions that are client focused and persuasiveΒ 
  • ProvidesΒ account management forΒ client’sΒ day to day operationsΒ Β 
  • UpsellsΒ current book of business to increase organic growthΒ Β 
  • Works closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of businessΒ Β 
  • ContinuouslyΒ providesΒ educational material to the client baseΒ Β 
  • Resolves any customer related issuesΒ in a timely mannerΒ Β 
  • Meets and exceeds monthly retentionΒ and upsell revenue quota

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience in an Account Management, Client Success role or client facing.
  • Experience in a healthcare background
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft OfficeΒ Β 
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to travel to cover assigned geographic area.
  • Must live in the Chattanooga, TN area or surrounding cities
  • Persuasive verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to build trust-based relationshipsΒ Β 
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast paced, competitive market
  • Self- motivated
  • Excellent time management and organizational skillsΒ 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven success managing a book of businessΒ Β 
  • Proven success in upselling & client renewals.
  • At least 1 year of clinical operations experience - including an understanding of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), understanding physician office workflow and service expectation
