Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager - Remote - California

A trusted insurance brokerage in Northern California is looking to add an elite insurance professional to its commercial lines team! In this role, you will manage a general book of business and assist clients with the highest level of customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience - You have 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Manager experience
• Licensed - Active Property & Casualty license
• Software - You are proficient with Applied Epic, Microsoft Office, Outlook, carrier websites, and other software systems as needed for the position
• Comprehensive knowledge - You have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills along with organizational skills.

The Position:

• Account management for small to mid-size accounts
• In-depth knowledge of various insurance coverages, products, and agency procedures
• Ability to effectively assess risk
• Initial review of policies and preparation of coverage breakdowns
• Responding to correspondence, telephone, and in-person inquiries from insureds regarding coverage, policy changes, premium payments, and related matters
• Prepare the applications for submission with underwriting information provided by the producer
• Follow up with Markets for quotations.
• Create the proposal under the direction of the Account Executive
