Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with Google Ads, or other search and social video platforms.
  • Experience using spreadsheets, dashboard products to analyze marketing data and come up with data-informed recommendations.
  • Ability to optimize products and services based on client needs while exceeding sales quota.
  • Ability to serve as lead and troubleshoot on potential technical support issues, articulating problems with internal groups and ensuring driving resolution.
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, multi-tasking and influencing skills in a cross-functional team environment.

As an Account Manager on the business, you are responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients, which means you are able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will support, grow new and existing performance marketing channels, managing business relationships to ensure external client needs and requirements are understood addressed, and internal team goals are met.Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$148,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Leverage your performance marketing expertise to structure and optimize accounts to deliver on client efficiency across Demand Gen, Text, Shopping.
  • Build and foster stakeholder relationships to manage clients effectively, working collaboratively with team and specialist partners to drive business growth with existing accounts.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analysis and recommendations that align with client goals and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to pitch to clients.
  • Act as liaison to clients regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities, while ensuring that clients are satisfied with their business growth while owning and collaborating on relevant Joint Business Plan (JBP) initiatives.
  • Align workflow among team members within Sales teams to execute initiatives and ensure accountability to team goals by understanding Vertical and Sector priorities and how the team is tracking relative to those Key Performance Indicator (KPIs).
