Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- 2 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- 2 years of experience with one or more of the following languages: SQL and Python.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with machine learning systems and prompt engineering.
- Experience in data management, metrics analysis, experiment design and automation.
- Experience with classification systems, ranking systems or similar.
- Experience in translating investigative insights into business strategies and actions.

As a Scaled Abuse Analyst for YouTube Trust and Safety, you will be passionate about identifying abuse patterns and trends within the Youtube Partner Program, and have experience analyzing large scale data and working with scaled systems. You will be an excellent storyteller that can turn insights into meaningful action for Trust and Safety. You will be a key contributor to the strategy for reducing network badness on YouTube's business generation program. You will grow in a fast, dynamic, demanding environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be a critical thinker with sound metrics judgment and who has a passion for coaching others, solving technological issues and setting scalable standards. You will be able to balance the short term requirements we face while demonstrating the ability to see the big picture and make quantitatively based long-term recommendations accordingly.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
