This is a highly technical, hands-on role responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining marketing automation solutions across email, SMS, and digital patient engagement journeys.Reporting to the SFMC Lead Development Manager, this role will partner closely with business stakeholders, program managers, and technical teams to transform business requirements into scalable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.This role operates in a highly integrated Salesforce ecosystem, leveraging Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Data Cloud, and external platforms to support millions of patient communications across channels.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and optimize email, SMS, and MMS campaigns using Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Content BuilderDevelop dynamic content, personalization, and conditional logic using AMPScript and SSJSDesign, maintain, and optimize data extensions, contact models, and automations within Salesforce Marketing CloudDevelop landing pages and microsites using CloudPagesBuild and maintain integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, OAuth, JSON, and XMLPartner cross-functionally with program managers, stakeholders, and developers to align on technical requirements and successful executionWork across a multi-cloud Salesforce environment including Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Data Cloud, Datorama, Evergage, and AttentiveSupport reporting and automation frameworks across business stakeholders utilizing platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Cloud, and DatoramaProvide production support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and deployment of enhancements and fixesIdentify opportunities to improve scalability, automation efficiency, and overall platform performanceContribute within an Agile development environment and support technical best practices across the teamQualificationsRequired Qualifications2–3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development experienceStrong experience with AMPScript, SSJS, SQL, HTML, and CSSExperience building and managing campaigns within Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Content BuilderExperience working in a Salesforce-integrated Marketing Cloud environmentHands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration frameworksExperience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutionsStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teamsFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesPreferred QualificationsSalesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Administrator certificationExperience with Gearset, Git, or DevOps toolingFamiliarity with MuleSoft or similar middleware platformsExposure to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Data Cloud, or Marketing Cloud PersonalizationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldExperience within healthcare, retail healthcare, or highly regulated industriesAnnual pay range: $119,000-$135,000 annually plus a generous benefits package that includes paid time off, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plan with matchView CA Privacy Policy
