We are seeking a Sales Product Manager with relevant experience working in a similar industry or position. Position SummaryThe Sales Product Manager role is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals for a new e-commerce SaaS platform that launched in Q1 2021. The Sales Product Manager will work with the sales team in generating new sales opportunities while collaborating with Marketing, Sales Enablement, and the Product Manager to showcase the new platform and products within it. A strong understanding of the sales process, generating, qualifying and converting leads, building relationships, and closing deals to grow sales and extend our global reach.Essential FunctionsQualify, develop, and maintain thorough company and product knowledge and closing new SaaS opportunities focused on the introduction and launch of a new platform productWork with the Account Executive team to focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.Meet or exceed sales goals/targets provided by sales management.Work with the marketing and product management team to design industry-specific outbound efforts to maximize leads and revenuePromote and sell company’s products to its clients and prospective customers by understanding their unique pain points.Generate leads and grow existing relationships with clients and new prospects (this is achieved by following up on inbound leads and online evaluations; cold calls or perform warm outreach; and following up on outbound marketing campaigns, into which this role will provide guidance)Work out strategies that would help displace competitors from market positionsNegotiate pricing and contracts, together with terms and conditions of businessEngage in forecasting, planning, and account resource allocation and strategyMake phone calls, web-based presentations and/or schedule in person meetings to support sales and manage product positioning strategiesDevelop targeted campaigns with Marketing and Sales Enablement to increase product pipelinePrepare and deliver presentations, proposals and product demos professionally Utilize HubSpot tool to ensure up to date account management and overall pipelineDiligently develop and maintain a network of business contacts within and around the company’s area or nicheCompetencies Required:Effective selling and presentation techniques with the capacity to influence customersStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to work with little or no supervision Flexibility and ability to multitask – handling more than one tasks at the same time Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, CRM, etc.; Experience with HubSpot and salesforce.com preferredExcellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and time management skillsWork effectively with both internal and external resources to successfully close salesUnquestionable integrityStrong drive to succeed, no matter the odds that may set inProspect both cold and warm accounts and demonstrate company’s website tools and functionality to potential customers to secure and close businessStrong ability to increase company’s pipeline through targeted traffic and demand generation.Ability to consistently deliver new business ideas, and to grow existing businessEffective selling and presentation techniques with the capacity to influence customersWell-developed communications skillsSupervisory ResponsibilityThe Sales Product Manager role has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentWe offer a dynamic work environment and a competitive compensation and benefits package which includes a 401k plan, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
