This is a remote internship position that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
Calix is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Field Enablement Intern to join our team for the summer months and support our sales processes and tool usage. In this role, you will be part of a unique and award-winning internship program within the company. The program provides the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on the job learning. The duration of the program is expected to be 90 days.
This role is essential for managing and optimizing our field enablement tools, with a focus on improved usage, effective integrations, and assisting with data analysis. The ideal candidate would have a basic understanding of various platforms, such as Seismic, Cornerstone, Gong, Spekit, and Salesforce, and be eager to learn and contribute to system improvements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Tool Support and Management: Assist in ensuring the effective use of sales enablement tools like Seismic, Cornerstone, Spekit and Gong. Help manage content within these platforms.
- Process Improvement and Onboarding: Support the streamlining of processes for onboarding and training, including assisting with managing and assigning curriculum within LMS platforms.
- Data Analysis Support: Help in analyzing data from various tools, providing basic insights and assisting with reports on performance, engagement, and sales trends.
- System Integration Support: Aid in facilitating and improving the integrations of enablement tools with Salesforce and other platforms to enhance effectiveness.
- Resource Development: Assist in developing and maintaining essential resources for sales enablement, focusing on practicality and user-friendliness.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university and working towards a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding or coursework related to sales enablement, content management, or a similar area in a tech-forward environment.
- Willingness to learn and manage various sales enablement and LMS platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in interpreting data and learning how to turn insights into action.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Able to work full-time for the complete summer break (ex: May – August or June - September).

Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.

San Francisco Bay Area Only:
21.85 - 28.75 USD Hourly
National Major Cities plus, CA, CO, NY Metro area:
19.00 - 25.00 USD Hourly
Regional plus NY:
17.10 - 22.50 USD Hourly
