Director of Project Sales

for the

US & Canada , you will be responsible for all Ruhrpumpen sales & customer support for projects with EPC, Engineering firms, Licensors, and strategic Headquarter accounts in the US and Canada. You will lead the team to achieve an increase in sales, expand market share, and profitably grow for all Ruhrpumpen products and aftermarket services. This will be achieved with a focus on sales of new pump sales (projects, replacements, duplicates), as well as Aftermarket (parts, service, repair, and upgrades).Main Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and manage the Sales professionals focused on EPC, Engineering firms, Licensors, and strategic Headquarter accounts in the US and Canada.Visit relevant clients and sales engineers within the territory.Coach Sales professionals in the solution of critical issues.Define the project sales strategy for the USA and Canada.Evaluate current and future market opportunities. Formulate and implement sales strategies which maximize presence, increase market share/penetration, and provide solid results solutions for the customer.Develop and maintain active relationships with key buying influences at all levels within the customer’s organization; specifically upper-level customer personnel, promoting top-down selling.Work in collaboration with the National Distribution Sales Director and the End User Sales Director to ensure meeting sales goals for the region.Coordinate, when necessary, international projects with sales directors from other territories.Manage the complete sales cycle for project sales.Follow up with facilities on relevant projects to ensure agreed conditions with clients and assure client satisfaction.Account planning.Coordinate the correct assignment of accounts within the team.Negotiate key orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal terms and conditions to mutual satisfaction of all parties.Job Requirements:

Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.5+ years of experience in similar roles.5+ years of experience managing teams.10+ years of commercial experience with rotating equipment.Experience working on pump project sales with a national scope.Highly motivated.Leadership and drive.High social and networking skills.Availability and willingness to travel to customer locations up to 70% of the time.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strategic planning and business development experience.At Ruhrpumpen, we value every employee, recognizing that each person contributes to our success through their position.
