Shift: Monday – Friday; 8;00am to 5\:00pm

The role you’ll contribute:


The Provider Data Specialist is responsible for updating and maintaining the provider directory. Effectively coordinates and inputs information across multiple data sources related to connected network initiatives, and monitors, prepares, and compiles key statistical reports for ongoing continued process monitoring. Responsible for ensuring completion and validation of all information before entering data into systems. Proactively identifies best practices and recommends process improvements. Position reports to the Provider Directory Manager Physician Service Manager.

  • Monitor and manage data changes and updates

  • Respond to inquiries and requests for information from stakeholders in a timely manner

  • Maintain directory standards and network management policies

  • Create and manage data reports and project files

  • Evaluates data integrity and addresses identified problems, including performing regular quality audits


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:


Minimum qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Technology or related field, or combination of high school diploma and at least two years of related experience

  • Experience working in data entry, quality assurance and maintaining detailed information

  • Experience in project management

  • Experience maintaining a professional level of privacy in accordance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations


Preferred qualifications:



  • Experience in healthcare or hospital credentialing
