Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management or a related operational role
  • Experience in financial management, including budget oversight and forecasting.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and priorities in a changing environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or other professional program/project management.
  • Experience with financial management software or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Experience working within a corporate security, resilience, or similar operational environment.
  • Excellent data analytics and reporting skills, with the ability to provide insightful metrics.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage an overview of project goals and deliverables presented on a timeline and use the roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations, and to communicate plans and coordinate resources.
  • Collaborate with team members or stakeholders to understand or identify work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Complete (e.g., budget, schedule, resource, technical) risk identification and risk assessment activities and mitigation plans in addition to monitoring foreseeable risk, and recording its evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
  • Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders, hold stakeholders/teams accountable for following the established processes, identify sponsors and stakeholders and secure resources, ensure work alignment with compliance/privacy policies, identify opportunities, implement process improvements, and support/promote the adoption of processes.
