About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

At Google Home, the team's mission is to create a home that takes care of the people inside it and the world around it. As part of the Health and Home Engineering Excellence (EngEx) team, you will be defining and implementing processes to launch high quality features and products for Google Home. You will bring together multiple teams building excellent solutions to test engineering problems to provide insights throughout the product development life cycle enabling high quality releases at higher velocity and efficiency.

You will help define and drive the process of how Engineering Excellence teams and other cross-functional teams work together to launch Google Home products and features to users at high quality and velocity by solving unique test engineering problems.

The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a home that cares for the people inside it and the world around it.
