Product Manager - Regulatory Data

Hard Rock Digital
Full-time
On-site
Florida, United States

What are we building?

Hard Rock Digital is on a mission to become the premier destination for online sportsbook, gaming, and social gaming. We’re building products for millions of users with integrity, innovation, and a deep respect for the regulatory frameworks that govern our industry.

Rooted in the legacy of Hard Rock and the Seminole Tribe of Florida, our brand is synonymous with excellence in entertainment, gaming, and hospitality, and we’re bringing that same standard to the digital space. Ready to join a team built for growth and impact?

What’s the position?

We’re hiring a Product Manager, Regulatory Data to lead the strategy and execution of our multi-jurisdictional regulatory and compliance reporting suite.

In this role, you'll be responsible for deeply understanding how reporting obligations vary across markets, how the underlying data flows support each report, and how to evolve our systems as new requirements emerge. You'll be hands-on with SQL, schemas, and pipelines, and expected to dig into raw data to troubleshoot issues, validate assumptions, and ensure field-level accuracy.

You won’t be managing engineers, but you’ll work side by side with Data, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal teams to define reporting logic, handle edge cases, and deliver audit-ready data products. When something needs to change, or when something breaks, you’ll be the person who can untangle the problem and lead the path to resolution.

This is a high-impact, technical product role that sits at the intersection of data infrastructure, compliance obligations, and operational risk. As regulatory complexity grows, so does the importance of this role, and you'll be key to ensuring we build a reporting foundation that is scalable, accurate, and trusted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and evolve requirements for regulatory and compliance reports across multiple U.S. jurisdictions

  • Write and run SQL queries to validate report logic, identify root causes, and support audit investigations

  • Understand how data flows from source systems through pipelines into report outputs, and map those flows clearly

  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to interpret regulatory requirements, resolve ambiguity, and translate into precise data logic

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Platform teams to manage dependencies and maintain data quality

  • Act as the subject matter expert on field-level report logic, business context, and jurisdictional nuance

  • Monitor regulatory changes and lead corresponding updates to logic, format, and pipeline dependencies

  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, accessible, and defensible under regulatory scrutiny

  • Lead triage and resolution of data or reporting issues in production environments

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who loves structure but isn’t afraid of chaos. Someone who doesn’t wait for perfect specs or clean handoffs, but rolls up their sleeves, asks hard questions, and builds clarity out of complexity.

You’ve probably worked in compliance or regulatory-heavy environments before. You know that precision matters, that ambiguity is everywhere, and that getting it right sometimes means digging five layers deep just to fix a single field.

This isn’t a quiet documentation role. It’s hands-on, high-stakes, and scrappy. You’ll be the bridge between people who speak different languages, legal, technical, and data, and you’ll need to keep the big picture intact without letting details fall through the cracks.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in product, compliance operations, regulatory reporting, or adjacent roles

  • Technical fluency. You can speak the language of APIs, data pipelines, and integration plans even if you're not the one writing the code

  • Strong analytical chops. You’ve worked with SQL, BI tools, or large datasets and aren’t afraid to dig into the data to verify assumptions

  • A bias toward action. You don’t get stuck waiting for someone else to make the first move

  • Comfort working closely with legal, compliance, external regulators, and engineering stakeholders across time zones

  • The ability to influence without authority, make defensible decisions, and challenge assumptions when needed

  • A sense of humor, perspective, and resilience, because compliance doesn’t have to be boring

What’s in it for you?

We offer our employees more than just competitive compensation. Our team benefits include:

  • Competitive pay and benefits

  • Flexible vacation allowance

  • Flexible work from home or office hours

  • Startup culture backed by a secure, global brand

  • Opportunity to build products enjoyed by millions as part of a passionate team
