About the Team/RoleWEX is transforming the Health & Benefits experience by modernizing a complex ecosystem of products that support consumer-directed healthcare accounts, payments, and employer solutions. As part of this effort, we are building a more unified, scalable platform that powers both current and next-generation experiences across our portfolio.We are seeking a Product Manager III to drive execution across a large and complex direct business portfolio within Health & Benefits. This role is highly execution-focused and sits at the intersection of platform capabilities and customer-facing solutions. You will be responsible for delivering modern, scalable product improvements that reduce friction for large employers, improve operational efficiency, and mitigate attrition risk across our product suite.This role offers broad exposure across multiple product verticals and requires strong cross-functional collaboration, technical fluency, and the ability to quickly ramp across domains. You will play a critical role in modernizing legacy systems while helping shape the foundation for future platform-driven innovation.How you’ll make an impactDrive execution across a large, complex portfolio of Health & Benefits products, ensuring delivery against key development prioritiesOwn and manage product initiatives end-to-end, from discovery through delivery, with a strong focus on measurable outcomesModernize existing products and contribute to building scalable, platform-driven solutions that improve customer and developer experiencesTranslate complex business needs into actionable product requirements, including user stories and backlog prioritizationPartner closely with engineering, design, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutionsWork within Agile frameworks, actively contributing to sprint planning, refinement, demos, and delivery processesEngage in technical discussions to help shape architecture decisions and ensure alignment with platform capabilities (e.g., APIs, integrations)Manage multiple initiatives across varying levels of complexity and maturity, balancing speed with qualityUse qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, measure success, and continuously iterate on product improvementsContribute to reducing customer attrition risk by improving product usability, efficiency, and value deliveryOperate effectively in a fast-paced environment with rapid turnaround and high visibility across teamsBachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be consideredExperience you’ll bring5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably within Health & Benefits, healthcare, fintech, or enterprise platformsProven ability to deliver complex products with a strong focus on execution, outcomes, and continuous iterationExperience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsStrong technical fluency, with experience working on or alongside API-driven architectures (e.g., REST, GraphQL, integrations, webhooks)Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems across multiple domainsDemonstrated experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously with competing prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and measure impactExcellent communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into business value and influence stakeholdersProven ability to work cross-functionally and build strong collaborative relationshipsBachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be consideredWhat will give you an edgeExperience in consumer-directed healthcare products (e.g., HSA, FSA, benefits administration)Background in platform or infrastructure product management, including building scalable, composable systemsExperience modernizing legacy systems or contributing to digital transformation initiativesAbility to bridge platform and application layers to reduce complexity and improve developer experienceExperience working with enterprise or large employer clients and solving complex operational challengesFamiliarity with event-driven architectures or distributed systemsThe base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
