Job Description: Product Manager (SAFe® Agile Framework)Location: Remote | Department: Product & Technology | Reports to: Director of Product ManagementABOUT THE ROLETransit Technologies is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own the TripShot/Passio product and the fixed-route and on-demand solutions portfolio. This is a high-impact, mission-critical role responsible for supporting our most strategic customer segments, including campus markets, corporate campuses, and airports.The Product Manager will serve as the primary owner of product strategy and execution for this portfolio, working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to deliver scalable, reliable, and market-leading transit solutions.As a SAFe® Agile Product Manager, you will define and execute the product roadmap for AI and data services, working closely with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver intelligent mobility products that optimize transit performance, empower agencies with predictive insights, and drive operational excellence. You will champion the voice of the customer and the business within the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring delivery aligns with Transit Tech’s strategic goals for growth and innovation.This is a full-time, strategic role for a leader passionate about leveraging AI to solve real-world mobility challenges and driving measurable business impact.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSTRATEGIC PRODUCT OWNERSHIP• Define, prioritize, and manage the roadmap for AI and data products, including data-as-a-service offerings, predictive analytics, and embedded AI features.• Translate strategic goals into epics, features, and enablers aligned with SAFe® Agile principles.• Partner with senior leadership to align AI initiatives with corporate objectives, market opportunities, and customer needs.• Identify and develop new monetization models leveraging Transit Tech’s data assets and APIs.• Define go-to-market, pricing, and product packaging strategies for new AI-enabled offerings.COLLABORATION & DELIVERY IN THE SAFe FRAMEWORK• Serve as the content authority for the Agile Release Train (ART) and collaborate closely with Product Owners across teams.• Work with System Architects, Release Train Engineers, and engineering leads to define technical feasibility and prioritize delivery.• Drive feature definition and acceptance criteria to ensure clear communication and quality execution across Agile teams.• Contribute to PI (Program Increment) Planning, ensuring cross-team alignment on objectives, dependencies, and milestones.• Review and validate deliverables to ensure alignment with Definition of Done, customer value, and business outcomes.CLIENT & MARKET LEADERSHIP• Engage directly with transit agencies and partners to understand emerging data and AI needs.• Analyze competitive trends, market data, and customer feedback to identify strategic opportunities.• Advocate for customer outcomes and data-driven decision-making across the organization.• Ensure AI and data products deliver measurable ROI for both clients and Transit Tech.Preferred Qualifications• Experience with on-demand mobility, fixed-route transit, or transportation technology• Experience supporting enterprise or B2B customers• Familiarity with campus, corporate, or airport transportation environments• Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide product decisionsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Data Product Management, or related roles in AI, SaaS, or analytics environments.• Proven experience delivering data-driven or AI-powered products within Agile or SAFe® frameworks.• Strong understanding of data architectures, APIs, data governance, and AI model lifecycle management.• Demonstrated success defining and executing roadmaps for new product lines or emerging technologies.• Skilled in backlog management, prioritization, and translating complex business needs into actionable epics and features.• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to engage effectively across technical and executive audiences.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification or equivalent.• Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and data monetization models.• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data engineering practices.• Previous experience in mobility, transportation, or public sector technology.• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent product initiatives.WHY TRANSIT TECHShape the Future of Intelligent Mobility – Be at the forefront of developing AI and data products that redefine how transit systems operate—creating smarter, safer, and more sustainable mobility solutions.Strategic Impact & Innovation – Play a pivotal role in driving Transit Tech’s digital transformation and revenue diversification through data-enabled offerings.Collaborative, Agile Culture – Join a high-performing Agile organization that values innovation, transparency, and continuous learning.Growth & Development – Access professional growth opportunities in data science, AI ethics, and enterprise product strategy—supported by a company committed to employee advancement.
