What You’ll Do The Product Manager (Payments & Checkout) will play a pivotal role in enhancing the guest experience for planning and booking ski vacations. This includes purchasing lift tickets, rentals, and lessons as well as managing changes to itineraries as guests prepare for their trip. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers, you will oversee products from initial concept to successful launch, bridging technical and business perspectives. Your ability to simplify complex problems into actionable steps will drive product development and lead digital innovation within the ski industry We’re looking for a Product Manager with experience in payment integrations and ecommerce checkout flows. In this role, you’ll help build guest experiences that are simple, secure, and high-converting, and you’ll shape the future of how guests plan and purchase their next mountain adventure. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Product Ownership Play a key role on a team charged with solving hard customer and business problems in ways that our customers love, and that work for our business. Be accountable for ensuring solutions are valuable, viable, and feasible. Payments & Commerce Be responsible for product features such as payment platform integration, fraud tools, and checkout experiences. Define, document, and optimize end-to-end ecommerce checkout flows. Collaborate with vendors to interpret documentation and align engineering and QA with use cases and expected results. Monitor industry trends and best practices across ecommerce, digital payments, and consumer checkout UX. Requirements & Execution Define product requirements and lead cross-functional execution of initiatives that enable exceptional digital guest experiences. Write clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria following best practices, including explicit payment and checkout scenario coverage. Partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to ensure technical feasibility. Work with design to ensure the guest experience is simple and intuitive. Lead and participate in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, story workshops, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives. Ensure cross-functional alignment across design, engineering, and partner/vendor teams. Discovery, Research & Analysis Lead product discovery and user research to test assumptions, validate concepts, and inform roadmaps. Use A/B testing, analytics, and qualitative feedback to drive decisions and measure improvement in key metrics (e.g., conversion rate, payment success rate, error reduction). Identify opportunities to reduce friction and improve payment success and guest satisfaction. Represent this information clearly to your team to guide prioritization and feature design. Who You Are Qualifications 3+ years of software Product Management or equivalent experience, with a focus on building technology products. 2+ years of ecommerce product management experience, including work on checkout optimization, conversion funnels, and digital payments. Experience performing user/customer research and using data—both qualitative and quantitative—to drive product decisions. Experience with systems integrations, ideally in a payments or commerce domain (payment gateways, fraud/risk tools, or subscription billing, fulfillment systems). KPI definition and measurement experience. Experience using Agile development methodologies and JIRA/Confluence. Skilled at breaking down work into Epics, User Stories, and detailed acceptance criteria, including defining complex error/exception paths. Proven track record of building, launching, and maintaining successful products. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional partners. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Entrepreneurial spirit—self-driven and curious with a passion for solving problems. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Passion for simple design, clean checkout experiences, and exceptional user journeys. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications. Familiarity with multivariate testing techniques and experimentation platforms. Experience building or working with API-based products or integrations. Familiarity with skiing/snowboarding as a guest.
