Key Responsibilities

  • Define Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals. Create and maintain an actionable product roadmap to guide development efforts.
  • Conduct Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Deeply understand market trends, user needs, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions. Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Gather and Prioritize Product Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements. Ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Work Closely with Engineering Teams on Implementation: Partner with engineering teams to ensure successful product development and delivery. Facilitate agile processes and remove obstacles to maintain project momentum.
  • Manage Product Launches and Iterations: Oversee product launch activities, ensuring all teams are aligned and prepared. Drive continuous product improvement through iterative feedback loops.
  • Present to Stakeholders and Executives: Communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders and executives. Build strong relationships to ensure buy-in and support.
  • Coordinate with Marketing on Product Positioning: Work with marketing teams to develop compelling product positioning and messaging. Ensure successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct User Interviews and Testing: Emphasize user-centered design principles by engaging directly with users through interviews and testing to validate product concepts and usability.
  • Analyze Product Metrics and User Feedback: Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess product performance and user satisfaction. Use insights to drive product enhancements.
  • Maintain Product Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained for product features, specifications, and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business or Technical Field: A foundational degree in a relevant field is required, with an MBA preferred for added strategic insight.
  • Proven Experience in Product Management: A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a software setting, demonstrating a track record of successful product management.
  • Strong Analytical and Data Interpretation Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Abilities: Proven ability to effectively communicate and present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies: Deep understanding of agile processes and their application in product development.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle: Knowledge of the technical processes involved in software development is crucial.
  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team collaboration and influence.
  • Location-Specific Qualifications: Familiarity with the local technology landscape in Westminster and a network of industry connections are highly desirable.
