Product Manager General Summary:Drucker Diagnostics is seeking a Product Manager to drive strategic development and lifecycle management of designated products in our medical equipment portfolio. This role requires a unique blend of healthcare industry knowledge, technical expertise, and business acumen to drive product innovation while ensuring regulatory compliance and market success.As a Product Manager, you will work across the organization to ensure that the company is prepared to promote, sell, supply, and support the product line in accordance with the company's current market strategy. You will guide the evolution of the product line throughout the entire product lifecycle, recommending future products, product improvements, and simplifications to support the company's medium and long-term strategy.You will work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Sales & Account Management, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance teams. Externally, you will serve as the subject matter expert and ambassador of the product line, available for joint sales calls and demonstrations, public speaking, training of partners and customers, and representing the company with professional associations.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in US clinical and laboratory equipment with a strong history of developing and launching products in US Hospital and Laboratory equipment markets. Success in this role requires working in a highly collaborative and energetic environment, excelling in hands-on execution, and being dedicated to building organizational entrepreneurial and growth mindsets.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & PlanningDevelop comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with company strategic objectives and market opportunitiesConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and market trendsDefine product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategiesCollaborate with executive leadership to establish priorities and resource allocationMonitor competitors, providing insights and recommendations on how to develop, refine, and position our productsConduct pricing analysis and develop competitive pricing strategiesTrack product performance metrics including revenue, margins, and market sharePrepare business cases for new product investments and portfolio decisionsProduct Development & ManagementLead, plan, and execute cross-functional product development projects including engineering, operations, sales, and marketingManage product lifecycle from concept through commercialization and end-of-lifeRelease new products by driving approved projects through the Stage Gate processDefine product requirements and specifications based on customer needs and standardsOversee product testing and validation processesRegulatory Compliance & QualityEnsure all products meet FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other applicable medical device requirementsCollaborate with regulatory team to manage quality system documentation and compliance auditsMaintain understanding of regulatory landscape and its impact on product developmentSupport risk management activities and design controls for the development processMarket Analysis & Customer EngagementAnalyze market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to inform product decisionsConduct customer interviews, site visits, and Voice of Customer (VoC) evaluations to gather product insights and translate insights into differentiated product valueWork closely with commercial teams to develop product training materials and sales toolsDevelop strong relationships with key accounts, decision makers, and influencersSupport customer relationships and participate in trade shows and industry conferencesAssess the hospital lab environment and business opportunities, gathering VoC insights and providing feedback to leadershipRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of product management experience in medical devices or healthcare technologyExperience with FDA-regulated products and medical device development processesExpertise in laboratory workflows, equipment, and understanding of key purchasing decision-makers in US healthcare marketsTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of medical device design controls and quality management systemsKnowledge of regulatory requirements including CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601Proficiency in product management tools and methodologiesExperience with project management software and data analysis toolsProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement and respond to challenges and customer inquiries effectivelyProficiency in analyzing data, identifying trends and patterns, and developing action plans for improvement Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal teamsSelf-driven with ability to consistently assess opportunities and provide strategic feedbackWillingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements and sales activitiePreferred QualificationsMBA or advanced degreeExperience with laboratory and clinical benchtop centrifugesInternational market experience and understanding of global regulatory requirementsTechnical background in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fieldExperience with digital health technologies and connected medical devicesSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNone
