We're looking for a Product Design Director to join our Banking team at Cash App.
The Banking team at Cash App helps customers manage and move their money – from cards and accounts to benefits, direct deposit, and savings. It's one of the most essential parts of the Cash App experience, touching how people bank day-to-day. The team takes a horizontal view across our financial products, ensuring the experience is seamless, intuitive, and deeply trusted. From refining core flows to inventing new ways for customers to interact with their money, this team is part systems thinkers, part product builders. We're looking for an imaginative and driven design leader to help shape the future of Banking at Cash App.
As Product Design Director, you'll report to the Head of Product Design and work with cross-functional leadership and designers across the company to deliver best-in-class product work. You'll be both a maker and a manager – directly involved in shaping what reaches customers.
As a maker, you'll define and lead the direction of our Banking experiences, across cards, deposits, transfers, and more. You'll bring clarity to complex financial interactions and ensure our design work reflects the brand, builds trust, and makes money management feel simple and empowering. You'll push the boundaries of what's possible and help us deliver one of the best-designed consumer banking experiences in the world. You excel at providing direction and actionable feedback to drive high levels of craft, partnering with senior ICs and product leaders to execute at quality.
As a manager, you'll lead a distributed team of designers across critical Banking workstreams. You'll guide career development, foster a culture of inclusion and creative excellence, and help shape how the broader design organization collaborates. You'll actively hire and grow a well-rounded team, connect work across product areas, influence the product vision at multiple altitudes, and drive meaningful results for customers and the business.
