We are seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join our IT Platform Engineering team in support of an 18-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Senior Manager Infrastructure Engineering, your primary focus will be supporting the Core Modernisation project where you will guide solution principles, consumption patterns, and operational processes from conception to run using approved Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technology certifications including Azure DevOps Services and Terraform Cloud.
Primary work location is at the RBA BRS office, and you must have flexibility to attend meetings at the Sydney Head Office. Hybrid work from home flexibility is available.

At the RBA, Platform Engineering is key to automating the way in which we manage technology lifecycles. The IT Platform Engineering team maintains solutions spanning CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automation services. We are focused on supporting the Bank's journey to adopt Infrastructure as Code, technology automation, and maturing platform capabilities whilst also evaluating and onboarding new technologies to ensure technology solutions remain relevant, robust, and secure.
