Join Digital Solutions at Griffith.Job DescriptionAbout the OpportunityPlatform Engineers are accountable for ensuring high availability, resilience, and security of platforms as well as business operations / services; incorporating automation to reduce repetition. They ensure continued successful operation of technology platforms, minimising any disruptions that can impact client experience.They perform operations activities for platforms such as managing availability, capacity, service levels, support, upgrades, and patching. They also provide support to development and implementation through testing; systems integration, configuration, and installation; and post implementation support. They actively contribute to the ongoing continual improvement of Platform Engineering practices, methods, and tools.Key Responsibilities:Support, monitoring and provisioning of pre-production and production application and integration environments/platformsWork with projects, product teams and/or vendors to implement and/or support integrations between on prem systems or hybrid integrations with third party solutionsSupport, installation, configuration, upgrades and patching of applicationsUse observability tools to create checks, dashboards and surface key metrics to support product teamsUse DevOps methodology and tools such as Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy and PHIRE to manage release on key enterprise platforms including but not limited to Azure, PeopleSoft, .NET, UiPath.Automate repeatable processesWork with projects and product teams to support and enhance their software delivery processesAbout youYou have a can do attitude and like working as part of a fun, supportive teamA desire to work with and learn a broad range of technologies and platforms, with the ability to specialise in a few key areasA versatile IT professional with a background as either an Enterprise Applications Engineer, Integration Specialist, DevOps Engineer or similarDemonstratedβ€―technical competency,β€―analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with change management processesStrong communication skills, both written and verbal along with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholdersCandidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check.Please note sponsorship is not available for this role.Β What we can offerThis is a fixed term position until 31/12/25 based at Brisbane South (Nathan). β€―As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.Β Salary HEW 7, base salary range $98,603.19 - $106,825.89 per annum + 17% superannuation.
