Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture including database administration and solutions in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience as a technical business engineer in a cloud computing environment or in a customer/partner-facing role.
- Experience in architecting solutions for data transformation, migration, governance strategies, availability, or disaster recovery.
- Experience with cloud computing concepts such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) technologies, and presenting technical pitches.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently as it is a customer facing role that requires communication with local partners.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in data and information management.
- Experience with networking concepts, including routing, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), load balancers and firewalls.
- Experience with managing databases.
- Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for distributed systems.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring technical teams.

Responsibilities
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
- Own the technical relationship with the partners, enabling them to manage product and solution briefings and proof-of-concept work, and coordinate additional technical resources.
- Support partners in prototyping, demonstrating and product integrations in customer environments, and identify and mitigate key customer technical objections.
- Work with the team to identify and qualify partnership opportunities.
