Get YOU Found is a growing digital marketing agency based in Greensboro, NC, specializing in SEO, PPC, and website development. Since 2008, we've been dedicated to delivering high-quality digital marketing services to our clients.
We are growing our web development business and are looking for a talented WordPress Developer with a deep passion for web design and development using CMS systems. We are NOT looking for custom coders or full-stack web developers. We mainly build in Beaver Builder, Shopify, Squarespace, and Wix. We offer a collaborative work environment that values every team member.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer who is highly organized and detail-oriented to join our team on a part-time freelance basis. We offer steady work every month. This role focuses on WordPress development and website edits for SEO and Google Ad conversions - Note that we are specifically *not* interested in someone with a focus on full-stack development.
We are looking for someone who enjoys creating website development systems, processes, and tools that improve speed, efficiency, and quality in the web development process. We look to use templates and processes that streamline repetitive tasks while allowing for flexibility for creative design work, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- System Development: Create and implement reusable templates and repetitive processes that streamline website development, reducing time and increasing consistency.
- WordPress Development: Build or rebuild medium-sized websites in WordPress efficiently, accurately, and on time.
- General Time Expectations: Between 10 to 20 hours a week
- Technical SEO Implementation: Apply technical SEO best practices, including site speed optimization and other on-page elements.
- Cross-Platform Experience: Utilize experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, Wix, Squarespace, etc., to fix or rebuild sites from other platforms into WordPress.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects are error-free and meet high-quality standards through internal review processes.
Required Skills, Expectations, and Qualifications
- WordPress Expertise: Minimum of 3 years specializing in WordPress development.
- Process-Oriented Mindset: Enjoys working with systems, tools, and templates that improve efficiency and streamline repetitive tasks.
- Eye for Details: Keen attention to detail as a native ability
- Technical SEO Knowledge: Understanding of core/foundational technical SEO elements and best practices. If the applicant does not have this ability, we will teach.
- Efficiency: Proven ability to deliver projects quickly and on time.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Organized and proactive approach to see projects through to completion
- US Residency: Must reside within the USA; preference given to candidates living near Greensboro, Charlotte or Raleigh, NC.

- Portfolio Submission: Must provide a portfolio of at least 5 WordPress sites completed within the past 6 months, including hours spent on each.
