We’re a successful outdoor services company with a strong brand and over 11,000 loyal customers in Collin County. For the last decade, we’ve grown steadily through reputation and referrals — without formal marketing. But now we’re shifting gears. We have a strategy, a budget, and big plans — and we’re ready to put marketing back at the center of our growth.
And just to be clear — while marketing hasn’t been active in this business for a while, we absolutely get it. We’ve built other companies and spent millions on marketing. This company was built on smart marketing — it’s just been running on momentum. Now, we’re ready to accelerate again, and we’re looking for someone who wants to help lead that charge.
This is a hands-on marketing and project management role. You’ll work directly with one of the founders (Jonathan). You’ll help manage, execute, improve, and scale our marketing efforts across digital, print, email, social, and more.
What You’ll Be Doing
This role blends creative and operational work — but make no mistake: project management is a core part of the job. If you love organizing plans and people, keeping contractors on track, and making sure things actually get done — you’ll thrive here. If you just want to write or come up with ideas without running point on execution, this probably isn’t the right fit.
You’ll help manage and evolve our marketing structure. Right now, it’s you and the founder (Jonathan) full-time on marketing. Everyone else is a contractor — we currently have 6 freelancers covering copy, design, PPC, and more. The model is designed to scale: multiple trusted contractors per function (think copywriting, PPC, design). You’ll work directly with these partners to execute our marketing initiatives and build the system that keeps it all moving.
Work Location
This is a hybrid role based in Far East Allen, TX. You’ll spend a bit more time in person at first while we get everything up and running. After that, the role will be mostly remote, with occasional in-office time as needed — likely 1–2 days per week, depending on what’s going on. If you prefer more time in the office, that’s totally fine too.
