Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience working in digital or offline advertising.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience running Marketing Mix Models.
  • Experience working in a consultative capacity to synthesize customer actions and recommendations.
  • Experience of local market research with excellent customer-facing, consultative, and communication expertise.
  • Knowledge of ad effectiveness and brand measurement ecosystem, with experience in at least one area of sales effectiveness, brand health/tracking or audience measurement.

As a Marketing Effectiveness lead, you will be responsible for helping advertisers measure the effectiveness of Google media through Marketing Mix Models (MMM).

You will use your knowledge of Marketing Mix Modeling, combining domain knowledge with understanding of Google products and a view for the big picture for clients - to help measure and understand the value of marketing investments overall, and with Google specifically.

You will utilize your understanding of industry practices, digital media trends, analytical abilities and your persuasive influencing skills to convince advertisers to take the necessary actions to properly determine brand, media customer value, and channel impact.

You will also lead relationships with critical third-party measurement partners to ensure Google media is measured accurately, deliver actionable insights to customers, and advance innovations in the industry. You will partner across Google Sales, Marketing and Go-to-Market teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and activate strategies for providing direct consultative measurement support to Google UK’s largest advertisers and the sales teams who manage them.
  • Drive advancement of high quality Marketing Mix Models (MMMs) for customers via improved Google data provision into MMMs and consultation on processes, modeling best practices and results of MMMs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate adoption of measurement solutions, identify opportunities for product innovation and partnerships to drive industry engagement around this measurement evolution.
  • Uncover measurement-related challenges, and develop bespoke solutions across stakeholders to drive business growth and convince advertisers to apply learnings, insights, and recommended actions.
